About This Resource
We are a resource center for parents of children with special needs. We have an extensive database of the services, programs, and professionals that service the special needs community (for example, but not limited to, ABA agencies, Sunday and after school programs, schools, camps and day camps, doctors, dentists, therapists, Board of Ed information, NY and NJ government programs, SSI, guardianship information, support groups, funds, medical supplies gemachim, and much more). We are not a referral center, but we have the personal touch that parents need when they call in. A live person to lend a listening ear and a guiding hand will speak with the parent until they have a clear picture of the options that suit their child's needs. We are constantly collecting references for programs and professionals so that we recommend only the best. We work closely with the parent and follow up until their concerns have been resloved. We also have a network of volunteer and paid babysitters for emergency respite, and we do our best to make arrangements to care for the special child when there's a simcha, a vacation, or a family emergency.
