About This Resource
Dedicated to helping you understand your past, so you can create a better future. Focused on helping members of the Jewish community understand the connections between the past and the present, including unresolved childhood issues, neglect, trauma, and abuse; and create a life of meaning. Also providing our Flagship program, Fresh Start Retreat, is a 7-day intensive retreat helping participants understand their past to create a brighter future. Fresh start aims to be the source of knowledge, information, training, and healing in all matters of emotional and mental health within the Jewish community.Additional initiatives currently underway include training, community lectures, support groups, and the world's first and only Think Tank specifically dedicated to trauma and mental health in the Jewish community. Our approach includes awareness (community lectures, support groups and published materials), advocacy (educational, professional and rabbinical training) and action (retreats, parenting workshops and referral networks).
